A New Stroller for Me!

I am 8 months pregnant now (yay!) and I am happy that we found both a name for the baby and a new stroller. Phew! That’s the hard parts done 😉

I couldn’t stop going back and forth, back and forth between a compact option, a jogging stroller and the new Austlen Entourage.

In the end, it came down to the Valco Baby Snap Ultra Stroller versus the BOB 2016 Revolution FLEX Stroller, Black. I ruled out the Austlen because I am still yet to get the opportunity to try it out in person.

Would you pick the Valco Baby Snap Ultra?

I love the Valco Baby Snap Ultra because it is a great compromise between being a compact stroller and still having lots of features – it works well with a newborn and comes with a bassinet as well. I particularly love that fact that it’s reversible and the hood is just sooo big – I don’t need to worry about buying sun and rain covers. It also has a very big basket.

What is extra great is that the stroller is still lightweight and compact. I don’t want a stroller for everyday use which is hard to fit in the trunk of the car or heavy to lift. It really covers everything I want!

Or the BOB Revolution Flex?

Well, except for one thing. I love the idea of a jogging stroller to hopefully get me out and about more often. I’m particularly drawn to the BOB 2016 Revolution Flex as it’s useful in every situation and I could use it with my older kids as well since it is a big stroller that fits up to 75 pounds.

Reading all this, you can probably guess what I picked… I just couldn’t go past the features and compact nature of the Valco Baby Snap Ultra and so far, I am very happy with it. Of course, the real test will come when I have a baby to go in – not long to go now!!

What would you have picked?
