This might be my last article for a couple of months – my baby is due at any moment! I am very excited to meet my fifth and final child and time is going very slowly.
As always, I am being kept very busy by my existing children, my husband and this site. I continue to keep everything updated. I am looking forward to having my baby and giving my new Valco Baby Snap Ultra a great work out so I can give you a thorough review soon!
On the stroller front, I also bought a Hitch Hiker Ride On by Valco Baby – this is one of those skateboard attachments that fits to the back of the stroller so older kids can hitch a ride when they are getting tired. I figured with two three year olds that this could come in handy!
I’ve been trying it out a bit with one twin in the stroller and one on the skateboard and so far, so good. They both love it, so now my next worry is arguments! It’s always something!
Everything else is prepared and ready for baby too. For the moment, he will be sleeping in our room, so I have a bassinet and change table set up. I definitely don’t need any clothes, blankets, etc. I have so many after having two boys already. In fact, I have been joking to my husband that we could just throw out each outfit after he wears it rather than bother washing it – we just have far too many!
My other kids are very excited as well and the waiting game at the moment does feel like torture. Come on baby boy, we want to meet you already!
We have already decided on the first name, but we are yet to come up with the second name. I am not all that fussed but my husband likes to make these things difficult. The other kids also want a say and so it gets complicated! As long as we have a first name and a stroller though, I am happy!
I am not sure what we will do once the baby is old enough to move out of our room. We thankfully have a four bedroom house so there are lots of options. Anyway, that is a problem for another day or another year even.
Cross your fingers for me that this baby comes out very very soon or I may go a bit crazy!
