Pros

The Indigo Stroller is very stylish. It sleek contemporary look makes it an attractive accessory for on-the go modern parents. At only 22 pounds, it is compact and lightweight making it more convenient to move around and store. It is also very easy to assemble. No need for screws or knots and bolts. The wheels and seat easily snap in place and it is ready for use.

This stroller features larger wheels than competitors in its class, making it easier to maneuver on any type of ground surface. Its rear wheel brakes are a safety feature that allows parents to “park” with peace of mind. The relatively wide seat easily adjusts from an upright to reclining position with an easy release feature that also allows you to switch from forward-facing to “parent-facing” position.

The large storage basket has more than enough space to carry the usual baby basics plus a little extra. It also has a cloth pocket with zippers which parents can use to store their wallets, keys and cell phones or loose change without fear of these falling out or easily getting lost. Its canopy offers baby sufficient protection from sun and rain.

Cons

Although it is narrower than other strollers, it tends to be a bit bulky when folded with the seat attached. To get a truly flat fold, you need to remove the seat first before folding. Although, removing the seat is not all too difficult. The rubber on the handle bar easily wears and tears. Perhaps the most disappointing thing about this stroller is its wheels tend to squeak after a period of use.

Our Recommendations:

Over-all, the First Years Indigo Stroller covers all the basic features of a versatile and reliable stroller at a fraction of the price. It gives great value for your money without compromising safety and comfort of your little one and at the same time provides parents with added features for their convenience. The pros far outnumber the cons on this one. The squeaky wheels can easily be resolved by doing a DIY repair using lithium grease.

The most attractive feature of this stroller is its affordability. It may not last as long as its higher priced counterparts, however considering the wear and tear children can inflict on their things, the First Years Indigo Stroller allows you considerable durability despite its lower cost. Plus, First Years is known for their excellent customer service, so this product gets our thumbs up.
