BOB Revolution SE Stroller Review

When I went hunting for a new jogging stroller there was only ever going to be one top choice for me – a BOB.

 BOB Revolution SE Stroller review

Our BOB Revolution SE Stroller. I’m in Love.

BOB makes many jogging strollers and it can be hard to know which one to buy (you can see a full comparison here). They recently brought out new models of many of them and some great new features so my first impulse was to buy the Flex or the Pro.

I then looked around on Amazon and had a fabulous discovery. The BOB Revolution SE is the cheaper option. By a fair bit! It is a great stroller and easily had everything I needed so I decided to buy this model. I am glad I did!

The BOB Revolution SE Single Stroller features excellent maneuverability. It works well on all terrains and is incredibly easy to push. It works for jogging while still being suitable for using in shops. The front wheel can lock for jogging.

It’s surprisingly easy to fold up and down and it’s compact when folded. It is never going to take on an umbrella stroller here but it is as compact as possible for its size. The wheels easily remove by pushing a button to make it even easier to store and transport.

BOB Revolution SE Stroller

Folded up it’s about as compact as you are going to find for this size stroller

There is a basket and storage pockets, a good size canopy and it’s big and spacious for kids. I use it for both my baby and my older kids. It holds up to 70 pounds so it’s also ideal if you are at home with an older kid who would usually be too big for a stroller but want to go for a run. You can still take them.

This stroller is perfect for families that want both a jogging and an around town stroller with a good recline and is highly maneuverable.

Pros

I am a big fan of this stroller. It is super easy to push and very maneuverable which makes it perfect for tight spots or for going on a run. Even with one of my big kids in this stroller, I find it easy to push while running. The suspension is also very good making for a comfortable ride.

The BOB Revolution SE stroller is very spacious and comfortable. The kids love sitting in here. There are also handy pockets for their bottles or drinks.

The sun canopy is great for keeping sun and most rain off the kids. The recline is also good.

I also love how easy it is to fold and that it is quite compact while folded. For a big, full featured stroller, the fold is impressive.

Cons

This stroller is big . Of course, that is probably part of the reason why you are buying it. Be mindful it’s not one for fitting in tiny spaces, although the fold is good.

My only real complaint is that I wish the basket was bigger. It is a decent size and can hold a nappy bag and some other small items no problem. I am used to the big basket on my Valco Baby Snap Ultra and it does not compare to that.

Summary – 5/5

I love the BOB Revolution SE stroller. If you are looking for an all terrain or jogging stroller, this is definitely one that should be on your list. It’s a great choice for active families and it’s just so easy to push.

It’s also a great choice if you are looking for a stroller for a big kid since it holds up to 70 pounds and is quite spacious.
